Summer weather and sun is hard on your skin.
For summer skin care, light and natural and
homemade skin care is the best. Whether
excessive dryness is a problem for you or you
suffer from acne and excess oils, there is an all
natural solution for your specific needs.
Free radicals caused by exposure to the sun are
what leads to premature aging and skin cancers.
Sunburns and overexposure to the sun leave
your skin looking aged beyond your years. After
being in the sun, you need to seek out and
attack those agents of aging with antioxidants.
The last thing you want to do is cause more
dryness or irritation. What you need to do is
renew, refresh and nourish your skin, the natural
way. You can do just that without chemicals or
high priced boutique products. You probably
have everything you need in your pantry and
refrigerator. Try these homemade skin care
recipes for beautiful, soft, smooth summer skin.
Step 1: Cleanse

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants that fight the free radicals that
cause premature aging and skin cancer. A simple brew, cooled and
applied to your face with a cotton ball is all there is to it.
Step 4: Anti Wrinkle Mask
Pure, organic honey is the best. Once a week, apply a thin coat to your face, neck and chest if necessary. Allow to dry
for 15 minutes, rinse with cool water. Follow with a green tea toner.
Step 5: Moisturize
For Normal to Oily Skin
Honey attracts and retains water, which moisturizes our skin. Mix 1 ½ tsps. honey, juice from ½ a lemon, 3 tbs. yogurt
and a whipped egg white and apply to face. Let stand for 15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
For Dry Skin
Apply a small amount of olive oil or grape seed oil directly to the skin and massage in.
